Hello,

I have a DMC-1822 and ICM-1900.

When testing TL for my X axis, everything is OK. I make the measure of MOCMDX (with TL 5) and got about 4.99. That's OK.

When testing the same for the Y axis, don't get any voltage from MOCMDY (0 V).

For this test I disconnected encoder and downloaded the following program:

#MYPROGRAM
SH;
TL ,5;
JG 0,1000;
AC 100000,100000;
DC 100000,100000;
BG;
EN;

So the voltage in MOCMDY don't have any change. The same is not true for X axis (MOCMDX), that worked as expected.

What can be wrong here?

Thank you.

Hi renanricha,

You may have a hardware problem with your MOCMDY signal. There is a simple test you can do. Instead of running your sample program, back up the PID parameters for the Y axis. Record these values so you can set them later. Zero the PID parameters for the Y axis, and command a direct voltage with the OF command. Issue OFY=4.0 , OFY=-4.0, and measure the voltage across MOCMDY and GND. You should measure a voltage of 4 VDC and -4VDC. If you continue to see 0 VDC , try swapping the ICM with a different ICM-2900 unit. See if the problem follows the controller. If it does, you may have to RMA the unit.
