Introduction to Galil Design Kit

     Galil Design Kit, or GDK, is Galil Motion Control's application development environment. Built on the efficient and powerful gclib programming API, communication with Galil motion controllers and PLCs is simple and effective. GDK's modular design allows communication with one or many controllers using a full featured tool set. In this video we will be covering the software's features and tools at a general, introductory level, while future videos will cover the individual tools in greater detail. 

Basics of Galil Design Kit: Manager, Terminal and Editor

     In this video, we will walk you through the first steps of getting a Galil motion controller up and running using Galil Design Kit - starting with getting a controller powered on and connected to a PC, sending commands to the controller in order to move a motor, and finally downloading and running a program on the controller.
