Galil's Two Day Product Workshop has gone Virtual!
Our sold out May product workshop was the first ever to be held remotely. The classroom and lab portions of the class were conducted live via 8x8. Galil demo boxes were sent to attendees so the hands on aspect was not lost. Our next available class is scheduled for September 16th -17th, 2020.

Introduction to Step-by-Step
While Galil's Setup, Tuning and Diagnostic Software continues to be enhanced, so does this very important Tool, Step-By-Step. In this video the process of setting up an X-Y stage including initial controller communication, motor setup, tuning, and more is demonstrated. This process will introduce the Step-by-Step Tool and show how easy Step-by-Step makes the initial connection process and motor configuration (especially for new users).
[App Note] Using Notch Filters to Mitigate Resonance

For those who have or will struggle with resonances in your control systems, Galil has produced App-note #3502 "Using Notch Filters to Mitigate Resonance." This note discusses the different types of resonances and what can be done to deal with them. In particular it explains two ways to use the notch filters available in Galil controllers to solve resonance issues in real-world applications.
